腕錶特色

音叉電子表

它們於1960年創製了Accutron音叉表，是史上首枚電子表，把幾百年來的傳統擒縱系統顛覆。

音叉機芯的原理是透過電磁鐵控制一個Y形由鋼或鋁合金製成的音叉（tuning fork），之後產生非常穩定且高達360Hz的頻率（一般機械機芯只有3-4Hz），

從而驅動一枚多達300齒的齒輪，如此一來便能把每秒鐘分割得更仔細，腕表的精準度得以大大提升。如果大家把音叉表靠近耳邊，

不會再聽到傳統的滴答滴答一擒一縱聲響，反而更像小蜜蜂發出嗡嗡聲。

可以說，音叉表是機械表與石英表的中間產物，後來震頻高達每秒32,768次的石英表於1969年誕生，隨即在全球掀起石英風暴，Bulova亦於八十年代正式停止生產音叉表。
